Caymen Grant Ivey

7-6-09

Caymen was hit by a car while playing this afternoon at home. Medical emergency transported him to the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. After the initial check from the doctor, the doc said Caymen's condition was stable. Caymen does have several skull fractures. He does not have any bleeding in the brain or swelling. They are still monitoring the swelling, so please pray that no swelling will develop. His vitals were all ok - temperature, heart rate, etc. Continue to pray....

We will try to update as more info is received.

  8. Dear Caymen and Pastor Mark, Tiffany and family:

I am praying along with the church family for your speedy recovery. I am praying for the strength of the Lord to be your portion. I am praying for the peace of the Lord to be strong and present with all of you while you gain strength.

I am confident in our Lord who has begun a good work in you, Caymen Grant and that He will complete this work in due time. Until then, many of us will pray to our Lord who hears and answers prayer. I love you all.

  9. To Caymen and the ivey family,
I have never met you, but got the email about your accident from our district office. I immediately stopped and prayed. My son was disabled in Iraq at 19 and God has done great things in his life. Not only healings, but a new birth of ministry to others through him. I have also been disabled in the past, but Gods healing has allowed me to get back in the field. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, so we see bad injuries every day. But God is faithful. Caymen it takes a real hero to battle back from tough injuries. Through Gods faithfulness and with Him on your side you will do great. Please know that our small church at the base here is praying for your quick and complete healing. Jerry "DEACON" Peters Your servant in Christ and for country.

  11. To Pastor Mark, Miss Tiffany and kids,
Isaiah, Carlos, and I know what you guys are going through. We know that it is not a easy road to take on. As you have told me many times," you did not know how we did it when we lost lil Ethan" its called FAITH, PRAYER,TRUST, AND GOD. We were very saddened to hear LIL Cayman was injured. KNOW THAT CAYMAN is in the best care. Our hearts and prayer will contiually be lefted with each of you... We love you all.
