Friends + Mac & Cheese = Progress

This has been such an encouraging day! Caymen has become more alert and talkative, and he was very excited to see some of his friends. He has not slept as much today, which has been good. The barium test went well and showed his ability to swallow is good. He is cleared to eat whatever he wants. He enjoyed some macaroni and cheese today along with some sprite.

Caymen still needs to be able to get up and walk on his own. Also, during the trauma doctors examination he has to be able to tell them if he has any pain in his neck. If this clears ok, then they will be able to remove the neck brace. Please continue to pray that the neck brace will be removed as soon as possible.

Caymen has been receiving a different pain medication by mouth and a drug that reduces nausea. These both have seemed to help him.

We are grateful for the progress in the short amount of time. God has been so faithful to us! Thank you for all of your continued prayer for Caymen and the Ivey family. Visiting hours are limited so Caymen and the family can get adequate rest.

As a reminder please mention a word of prayer for Nobale and her family (one year old girl in ICU who was hit by a car). She is not doing well. Also, pray for the salvation of the family.

  1. Praise the Lord for Mac & Cheese and Spiderman! The Lord still heals and provides miracles today! We just know Caymen will not only be walking soon, but will be anxious to get up and play. We have been praying constantly for Caymen,Cappy(Pastor Mark), Tiffany, Ariel, and Ashton. We pray that the Lord leads you beside still waters and restores your souls and gives all of you much need rest and joy in the days to come. You will never know how much we love you and have prayed for the Lord to place all of you under the shelter of his wing.
Have a blessed day and we look forward to more great news about Caymen. Nobale and her family are in our prayers.
Much love, Chris & Dena Biggerstaff
